The 31st Lone Star Hoops Basketball Camp is coming back to Fredericksburg this summer.
Lone Star Hoops has hosted more than 380 camps since 1988.
More than 1,000 campers were taught during last year’s summer camp programs across Texas, alone.
This year, the Lone Star Hoops Basketball Camp will return to Fredericksburg High School Monday through Thursday, June 15-18.
The camp targets boys and girls between age 7 years old through eighth grade.
The camp is designed to be an energetic, upbeat camp with cutting-edge experience.
The camp focuses on skills that are necessary to play the game of basketball.
Repetition, muscle work, memory work and building positive self-esteem are what Lone Star Hoops offers to those who are interested in participating.
“No camper finishes camp without a heart full of aspirations, a head full of knowledge and positive memories, hands full of mementos and a personality built on a foundation of positive reinforcement,” Lone Star Hoops said in their mission statement posted online.
The camp is suited for campers on any skill level.
From beginners to aspiring stars, the camp caters to anyone interested in learning the game of basketball.
For those interested in participating, registration can be made through the Lone Star Hoops website at lonestarhoops. com.
The cost is $140 at the door for those who missed early registration.
