Capital Farm Credit announces scholarships

Each year, Capital Farm Credit proudly invests in the next generation of agricultural leaders by awarding scholarships to outstanding high school seniors across Texas.

This year, approximately 100 outstanding students from five Capital Farm Credit regions earned $1,000 scholarships to support their full‑time studies at accredited vocational programs, technical schools, colleges and universities. These recipients are pursuing degrees in agriculture and natural resources, including fields such as agricultural communications, agricultural economics and business, agricultural education, wildlife management and ranch management.

“We received an impressive number of high‑quality applications, and it’s clear that the future of agriculture is in capable hands,” said Jeff Norte, president and CEO of Capital Farm Credit. “We’re proud to recognize these remarkable students and look forward to the impact they will make in our industry.”

Since launching our centennial scholarship initiative in 2016, Capital Farm Credit has awarded more than $1 million to more than 1,000 Texas students, strengthening our commitment to growing the future of agriculture.

It is a privilege to congratulate this year’s winning recipients from Capital Farm Credit’s Austin Region.
