Perrys Last Trick, ridden by Humberto Vital, right, won the second regular day race held at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds on the first day of pari-mutuel horse races. Jj Carter, ridden by Eliazar T. Vera, left, placed second. Races four through 11 on Saturday, July 6, were canceled due to rain that started in the third race. Four races in total were run on Saturday, July 6. Sunday’s races were also canceled.
