Seguin has always held a special place in the hearts of many local Lutherans here. We weren’t Lutheran, though my mom had been baptized at Bethany, and many of my classmates later attended Texas Lutheran College in Seguin. I had never been there myself until the summer of 1965 when I went to interview for a teaching position.
