Rootology bets on reputation

Deah Nix was born to work in trucking. Her parents ran the family transportation business on warm customer service and excellent communication. She learned to curl up on steakhouse chairs and sleep through late-night meetings. From an early age, Nix said, she knew how to answer the office phone with poise.
