At the city council meeting on Tuesday, May 5, Kevin Randolph, a certified public accountant with Eide Bailly, presented his financial firm’s independent audit of the city for the 2025 fiscal year. Director of Finance Krista Wareham and her financial department were commended by Randolph for their pristine recordkeeping, accounting and capital asset tracking. Randolph stamped his presentation with an “unmodified opinion,” signaling that Fredericksburg’s finances passed the examination by receiving a clean audit opinion.
