POLICE ACCIDENT REPORT

The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to 18 motor vehicle accidents, two major and 16 minor, between Monday, April 21 and Sunday, April 27.

The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to 18 motor vehicle accidents, two major and 16 minor, between Monday, April 21 and Sunday, April 27.

Major

On Monday, April 21, an officer responded to a two-vehicle wreck in the 1000 block of Texas 16 South. The driver of unit one was transported to Methodist Hospital | Hill Country with minor injuries, and was also issued a warning for failure to yield right of way. Both drivers were provided with exchange forms.

On Tuesday, April 22, an officer responded to a two-vehicle wreck at Friendship and Hollmig lanes. The driver of unit one was given a warning for failure to control speed, and had minor injuries. Driver one was transported to Methodist Hospital | Hill Country. Both drivers were given exchange forms.

Minor

An officer responded to a two-vehicle wreck on Monday, April 21 at South Lincoln and East Ufer streets. The driver of unit one was given a citation for failure to comply with requirements on striking unattended vehicle. No injuries were reported and both parties were given exchange forms.

Also on Monday, April 21, FPD responded to two other two-vehicle accidents, both with no injuries and they provided exchange forms. One occurred on the 400 block of South Adams Street and the other at U.S. 87 South and Friendship Lane.

An officer responded to a two-vehicle wreck at the 100 block of Nimitz Parkway on Tuesday, April 22. No injuries were reported and both parties were given exchange forms. The driver of unit one was given a warning for driving on the wrong side of the road.

On Wednesday, April 23, officers responded to two wrecks with no injuries reported. The first was a singlevehicle wreck at Crenwelge Drive and Crenwelge Lane, and the second was a minor wreck on the 1400 block of East Main Street.

On Thursday, April 24, officers responded to three two-vehicle wrecks with no injuries. The wrecks occurred at: Friendship Lane and U.S. 87 South, the 100 block of East Driftwood Drive and on the 600 block of East Main Street.

A hit-and-run wreck was reported on Thursday, April 24 on the 400 block of East Live Oak Street. No injuries were reported and a report was made for the driver’s insurance.

On Friday, April 25, officers responded to a two-vehicle wreck at South Milam and West San Antonio streets and a single-vehicle wreck at Longhorn and Franklin streets. No injuries were reported in either wreck, and drivers were provided with exchange forms.

Also on Friday, April 25, an officer responded to a twovehicle wreck on the 100 block of East Creek Street. The driver of unit one was seen by emergency medical services but was not transported to the hospital. The same driver was given a warning for failure to drive in a single lane. Both drivers were given exchange forms.

On Saturday, April 26, an officer responded to the 400 block of East Main Street for a two-vehicle wreck with no injuries. Both parties had already exchanged information but were given exchange forms.

On Sunday, April 27, an officer was dispatched to Lupine Lane and Avenue C for a minor wreck, but upon arrival, no accident was seen.

Also on Sunday, April 27, an officer responded to a twovehicle wreck on the 200 block of East Main Street. No injuries were reported and both drivers were given exchange forms.
