A fter five days of early voting, just 582 had cast votes in the Fredericksburg City Council election through Monday afternoon as this is written. We have 8,069 registered voters in the city limits who may cast votes, but it’s looking like we’ll end up with a paltry 10% or so turnout. (The May 2024 election only saw 927 cast votes, for an 11% turnout.)
