JOURNEY PROCEEDS

Bethany Lutheran Church congregation recently donated almost $8,700 to the Fredericksburg Food Pantry. The gift was a combination of special offerings, and donations collected at Bethany’s annual Christmas Journey drive through. In 2024, the Food Pantry provided food to approximately 2,875 families made up of just over 9,300 individuals. Present for the donation were, from left, Jonathan Baethge, member of the Food Pantry Board of Directors, and Jaye and Kenneth Treibs, co-chairpersons of the Christmas Journey. Not present for the photo were Danny and Cheryl Flink, cochairpersons for the Christmas Journey. Almost 2,000 people travelled through the Christmas Journey in December. — Submitted photo
