Bethany Lutheran Church will host a free grief support workshop series for the community entitled “GriefShare.”
Classes will begin on Thursday, Jan. 9 and will be held each Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. Classes will continue through Thursday, April 10.
During the two-hour session, the class will watch a short video and engage in group conversation. Each participant will receive a personal workbook to help continue thoughts and prayers between sessions.
The group covenant assures complete confidentiality in the conversations. People are welcome to join the class at any time. Also, videos are available online.
The Rev. Ray Tiemann, visitation pastor at Bethany, and a team of trained lay leaders, will facilitate the sessions.
