The City of Fredericksburg will host its “Countdown to 2025” event to ring in the New Year at Marktplatz on Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 3-6:30 p.m.

The free event will feature entertainment, including inflatables, a trackless train, the Monster Mural sponsored by the Optimist Club of Fredericksburg, and face painting sponsored by Security State Bank & Trust.

Also, a DJ and music provided by Hill Country Telephone Cooperative (HCTC), a 360-degree photo booth by Methodist Hospital | Hill Country, dance performance by Relevé Dance Studio, Wild Things Zoofari animal encounter show and a magic show.

The countdown will conclude with a video presentation and ball drop on the town’s square. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

For those who cannot attend in person, the countdown will livestreamed on YouTube by FBG.Live beginning at 5:30 p.m.
