Performing a “mashup” of Ludwig von Beethoven’s most-known melodies, violinist Lindsay Deutsch (who was a Juilliard Music School student and Yanni’s featured violinist) plays a melody and trades phrases with cellist Isabella Palacpac. At right, pianist Alexa Constantine gets animated comping chords behind the melodies. Take 3 includes classical music in its shows, but also performs lively takes on popular music.
