Fredericksburg City Council members used the power of silence to voice opposition to a property owner’s request to release over 140 acres along U.S. 290 East from the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, and later vocalized a unanimous vote to allow further investigation of bringing a Glockenspiel to Marktplatz at Tuesday’s regular meeting.
