Man waves down officer to try and catch a ride, gets arrested for public intoxication

The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to 301 calls for service and made 219 traffic stops for the week of July 1-7. They arrested six people for public intoxication, one for driving while intoxicated and another for an out-ofcounty warrant.
