Three-vehicle accident
One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident at the Y at the west end of Main Street on Friday, May 24. An individual was taken to Methodist Hospital | Hill Country and his status is unknown, according to City of Fredericksburg Police officials. An 18-wheeler hauling a gravel trailer traveling eastbound on U.S. 290 hit the driver’s side of a Ford F150 traveling westbound on U.S. 290 at the intersection of U.S. 290 and U.S. 87 in Fredericksburg, according to police. The truck was pushed into a white vehicle that was stopped at a red light on U.S. 87. The driver of the white vehicle was taken to the hospital. – Standard-Radio Post/Cary Burgess
