The newly elected mayor Randy Briley and city council members Tony Klein and Gary Neffendorf were sworn into office by now-former Mayor Jeryl Hoover at Tuesday’s regularly scheduled council meeting. The new council’s first meeting was marked by its unanimous denial of a third rezoning request on East Austin Street.
