For years, musician Chadwick Murray played bass in bands in and around the Dallas area. He was good enough to make a name for himself in the local scene. So, when a group of music veterans first talked about putting a soul band together, musicians who had known and worked with Murray for years didn’t even look his way when discussing possibilities for a lead singer for this imagined new group.
