FHS hosts UIL One Act Play, students awarded

FHS hosts UIL One Act Play, students awarded

Fredericksburg High School drama department students presented “These Shining Lives” by Melanie Marnich and directed by David R. Remschel, during the annual University Interscholastic League (UIL) District 29 4A One Act Play Contest on Tuesday, March 5.

Remschel and the students selected the play for competition last fall. The first task was to cut a 20-scene, full-length stage play to 40 minutes, followed by casting, blocking, costuming, set design, lighting and music, and daily rehearsal.
