Harper ISD trustee election ahead in November

Seven people filed to run for seats in local city council and school board elections.

Fredericksburg City Council, Fredericksburg Independent School District and Doss Consolidated Common School District election filing for candidates closed Friday, Feb. 16, for the May 4 elections.

The seats of Mayor Jeryl Hoover and councilmembers Emily Kirchner and Tony Klein are up for reelection.
