Oktoberfest study finds big-spending visitors give big boost to economy

Oktoberfest packs a polka punch.

Core Research of San Antonio conducted a study on the economic impact of the 2023 event and found that it drew 26,166 in attendance and estimated spending activity of $12.5 million.

All that economic activity generated tax revenue to the State of Texas and Gillespie County totaling $311,000.
