FISD teacher passes on what her teacher gave to her

When it comes to teaching, Fredericksburg Independent School District teacher Kathi Cummings has filled a lot of roles. Currently, Cummings teaches at Fredericksburg Alternative School, the DAEP (Disciplinary Alternative Education Programs) school for the district, a new role in her teaching career.

“The DAEP is children who have been sent here by their home campus administrators for punitive purposes,” Cummings said.
