CrimeStoppers tips and telephone calls led to the capture and arrest of the man suspected of robbery and homicide during the Tuesday, Jan. 2 robbery of the Kwik Chek at 1001 South State Highway 16 (South Adams Street).

Awes Singko Rapet, 21, was arrested at 11:46 p.m.  Wednesday, Jan. 3, after officers and deputies from the Fredericksburg Police Department and Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office executed arrest and search warrants.
