FHS cheer places sixth at UIL State Championship

Out of about 65 teams, at the UIL Game Day State Championship in Fort Worth Friday, Jan. 5, the Fredericksburg High School cheer team landed in sixth place in the 4A D1 Game Day division. They scored 90.23 points out of a possible 100.

The Band Chant team, which does not tumble or stunt, unlike the Game Day team, placed first out of about 20 teams, with a score of 49.350 out of 50.
