CrimeStoppers tips and telephone calls led to capture and arrest of the man suspected of robbery and homicide during the Jan. 2 robbery of the Kwik Chek, law enforcement announced Thursday morning.

Awes Singko Rapet, 21, was arrested at 11:46 p.m.  Wednesday after officers and deputies from the Fredericksburg Police Department and Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office executed arrest and search warrants.
