Gillespie County Commissioners named Erika Caputo as director of Pioneer Memorial Library during its regular meeting at the courthouse on Dec. 21.

Gillespie County Judge Daniel Jones mentioned during the meeting that several executive sessions had taken place regarding the long-time open position.

“So, we have a candidate that we made the offer to, and she has agreed to accept that offer,” Jones said during the meeting.
