New childcare facility to open on North Milam Street
When Marla Compton decided to open her own childcare facility, she knew it was time to move back home.
Hailing from Kerrville, Compton moved back from Dallas to open the Little Peaches Learning Center in Fredericksburg by the end of January.
“I’ve been in childcare for 22 years, and always wanted to get back home to work,” Compton said. “I knew if I was going to open my own center, I wanted it to be back home.”
