The 40-voice Fredericksburg United Methodist Church Choir, complete with orchestral accompaniment by members of the Fredericksburg Community Orchestra and Fredericksburg Chorale, hosted two performances of “A Festival of Christmas” on Sunday at the church. The Christmas worship show featured new and traditional music about the story of Christ’s birth, and songs arranged by Mary McDonald and orchestrated by Michael Lawrence, two Tennessee-based composers.
