Harper Longhorns open up season with 1-1 record
The Harper Longhorns boys’ varsity basketball team opened up the season with a loss against Brady Friday night and a win over Charlotte Saturday afternoon.
Harper’s season kicked off Friday night with a loss against Brady, 69-35.
The Longhorns recovered quickly and defeated Charlotte Saturday, 45-31.
“Last night (Friday) and today (Saturday), Markhas Rose and his rebounding were just huge,” Head Coach Shawn Spaeth said.
Over the course of two games, Rose combined for 19 rebounds.
