The Fredericksburg High School boys’ varsity basketball team opened their season Monday afternoon with a huge 54-41 win over the Comfort Bobcats at the FHS Performance Gym.

“A win is a win, and we will take it,” Head Coach Tim Kaman said. “I was really pleased how hard we played. If we can keep up that intensity all year, we will be in good shape. That was my main concern, playing hard.”
