Changes on Main
Main Street in Fredericksburg has seen considerable change in the past couple of years. The loss of some of downtown’s most recognizable shops — Phil Jackson’s Granite and Iron Store, The Christmas Store and Dooley’s 5, 10, and 25¢ Store — has contributed to a different look at what many retailers and commercial landlords refer to as “the golden blocks” of Main Street.
