FHS marching sweeps competition
The Fredericksburg High School Band’s halftime show was moved to the end of the football game last Friday due to Homecoming festivities. The woodwind ensemble from left, clarinets – Giovanni Valdez, Hank Raymer, Sidney Jones, Nadia Reyes; flutes – Macy Wheeler, Ava Kagey; bass clarinet – Anna Munoz and saxophones – Osvaldo Ramirez, Jamison Dodes and Deegan Andrews, played on a platform during their show. –Standard-Radio Post/Christine Granados

FHS marching sweeps competition

The Pride of the Texas Hill Country, the Fredericksburg High School Band program, played a double header last Saturday in contests.

In the morning, Saturday, Oct. 7, they traveled to San Antonio to compete in the Rocket Review Marching Competition hosted by Judson High School and placed second overall in 4A competition.
