PROST!
Fredericksburg Rotary Club donated $8,000 as proceeds from its second annual Fredericksburg Craft Beer Festival to The Good Samaritan Center, which offers medical and dental care to Gillespie County’s non-insured residents. From left are Good Samaritan board members Jim Heupel, Domingo Sanchez, Sharon Joseph and Hilario Villa, along with John Willome, Good Samaritan executive director, event co-chair Ken Cooke, Rotary Foundation Chairman Tom Hutton, foundation treasurer Patrick Moore, Rotary Past President Debbie Sultemeier and current President Mike Birdlebough. (Absent are Dale Cook, co-chair, and Jody Donovan, contest chairman.) The festival was held earlier this summer and the Rotary Club designates a charity recipient each year. The 2024 event will be held June 9 at Marktplatz. — Submitted photo
