The Fredericksburg High School varsity volleyball team needed a win to build up confidence before a long stretch of tough district matchups on the horizon.

The confidence booster came Tuesday night when Fredericksburg swept Marble Falls in three sets, 25-14, 25-15, and 25-17.

The Billies followed that up with a tough home contest against Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Class 4A No. 10 Wimberley Friday night at the FHS Performance Gym.
