To say she was the best in the community newspaper industry would not be a stretch. In increasingly challenging times for the newspaper industry, Kim Jung was a huge part of the Fredericksburg Standard-Radio Post maintaining its place as the best large weekly paper in Texas and one that is financially healthy in comparison to most.

On Thursday, Fredericksburg Publishing Company, parent company of the Standard-Radio Post, held a reception to honor Jung and her four decades with the company.
