‘Fairly hot out’
The Gillespie County Fair Race Meet was held Saturday and Sunday. This race on Saturday had a rare dead-heat finish, with Royalmightybud (right) tying with Pretty Cosmo Girl (left) for the top finish in the 220-yard sprint.
