Gillespie County’s top marksmen gathered for the 127th Annual Bundes Schuetzenfest this weekend at the Grapetown Eintracht Schuetzen Verein.
The shooting event this weekend concluded Sunday with Dennis (Bear) Crenwelge winning the centerfire competition with a score of 98 out of 100. It was Crenwelge’s third Schuetzenkoenig title.
Crenwelge also posted titles in 2012 and 2014.
