June and July are considered to be the offseason in high school sports across the state of Texas, including the Hill Country.

August has arrived and that means that local high schools and middle schools are coming back to life after a semi-vacation for some of our local programs.

Football, volleyball, cross country and tennis programs are returning to practice with games just around the corner in the days to come.
