At the Aug. 2 Fredericksburg Planning and Zoning meeting, the commission voted unanimously against the request by Nick Skuteris with DC Partners to consider an amendment to the Planned Unit Development (PUD) for the property located at the intersection of U.S. highways 290 West and 87 North. The 22-acre property was previously referred to as the Seven Hills Development but has since been renamed to “The Meuse” after the town’s founder John O. Meusebach, according to the developers.
