Vernon Lee Brodbeck, 89, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, July 29, 2023.

The family will greet friends on Friday, Aug. 4, from 1-2 p.m., in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home, where the funeral service will begin at 2 p.m.

Cremation is planned afterward, with interment of the cremains at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Methodist Hill Country Hospice, Hill Country Community Needs Council or charity of choice.
