Charles William Blackwell, 62, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, July 27, 2023.

Blackwell was born March 2, 1961, in Kerrville, to Clifford and Viola Feuge Blackwell. He married Tammy Jo Boettcher Oct. 6, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Jo Blackwell; step-daughter, Arena Grace Turner, brother, John C. Blackwell and wife Sue.

Blackwell was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cave Creek. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
