I read over and over in this newspaper via the editor and letter writers how awful the legislators were in passing the “Robin Hood Bill” and how it is so unfair to our district and how we lose so much money to other districts. Let’s take a look at a little history and reality.

First, “Robin Hood” is not a bill, it is a moniker created by news media to describe legislation that resulted from the Texas Supreme Court ordering the legislature to equalize funding for schools in Texas.
