Locals are Little League softball champs
The Fredericksburg Minor 8-10 Girls’ Softball team captured the District 26 Texas Little League softball title Friday, June 23 at Medina Valley High School in Castroville. The team advanced to the Section 3 Championship Game in Del Rio this past weekend. Fredericksburg lost to Bulverde Navy, 10-9, Tuesday night in Del Rio. Locals are Little League softball champs

The Fredericksburg 8-10 Minor Girls Softball team captured the Texas District 26 Little League title on Friday, June 23, at Medina Valley High School in Castroville.

Fredericksburg rolled over Boerne, 10-0, to capture the District 26 championship.

Winning the championship did not come easy for Fredericksburg.

The district tournament began on Monday, June 19, with a 4-1 loss to Medina Valley.
