Black cemetery section gains historical marker
Der Stadt Friedhof was established in 1846 for the founders, first settlers and those who built the Fredericksburg and Gillespie County community. The first burial in Section C of Der Stadt Friedhof was for Amelia ?Millie? Tinker, who was born into enslavement and died in 1933, after emancipation.
