Citizens of Fredericksburg, I moved from this city on May 6 to be nearer my family in Abilene. I loved this little town, which became a much bigger city in my 26 years there. I loved working at Hill Country Memorial as an R.N. and loved watching it grow in size and reputation.

My husband and I made many friends from the hospital and from our Hill Country Church family, and the city in general.

The town has some growing pains, and I pray the needs of its citizens will be met and cared for well.

With the loss of my husband, it seemed time to be nearer my children, and so, here I dwell, but my heart will always be a part of “the ’burg.” Thank you for 26 good years.
