‘Sweetwater’ musical set
The musical “Sweetwater” will debut at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26 in the 2021 Philadelphia Women’s Theater Festival honoring “Hometown Heroes.” The first 90 minutes of the piece will be presented as a “radio play” via Zoom, marrying the 1940s with today while sharing the draft with audiences
