The Beast of Busco was said to inhabit a small lake near Churubusco, Indiana. Oscar Fulk first saw the monstrous turtle in 1898 and estimated the leviathan’s size at over 500 pounds. The beast was spotted numerous times in the following decades but all attempts to catch him up until 1949 failed miserably.
