Gillespie Race Meet slated Aug. 10-11

A third weekend of live pari-mutuel horse racing is planned Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 10-11, at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds. Gates open at 11 a.m. and post time is 1 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children six to 12 years of age and free for children five and under. Box seats are $20. Advance
