Fredericksburg High School varsity and junior varsity boys’ track both earned top three spots in the Liberty Hill Panther Relays on Saturday, Feb. 17, in Liberty Hill.
The varsity took second place and junior varsity finished third in their respective divisions.
“I am very proud of the effort of all of these young men as they competed and set personal records at the Panther Relays,” coach Gilbert Renaud said.
Senior Caleb Wilkins earned FHS’ lone varsity gold by winning the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.44.
Graham Hammond (silver, 800-meter run) earned the varsity’s other medal.
Lorenzo Garcia earned a gold medal in the junior varsity 800-meter run.
The Billies’ next meet is the AJ Loth Relays on Saturday, Feb. 24, at FHS Stadium.
