Gillespie schools welcome 4,242 pupils on first day

Students in Gillespie County’s seven school districts have all reported for classes. And with the start of school, 4,242 students are now in class. School bells rang on Monday for 3,106 students in the Fredericksburg Independent School District, 595 in the Harper ISD and the 22 in the Doss Consolidated
