Fredericksburg High School varsity volleyball ends its season with several accolades, including an all-star pick and MVP honors.
Fifteen players from the Billies’ 2016 team were honored with postseason accolades highlighted by junior Aubrey Sultemeier’s selection to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star Team and senior Kinsey Stevens’ District 28-4A Most Valuable Player Award.
Junior Landry Moffett earned the district’s Setter of the Year Award for her play during the Billies’ season, which saw them finish with a 27-20 record and the District 28-4A title.
Sultemeier, Jessie Jarreau and Grace Allen earned all-district first-team honors.
Ali Grona and Madi Wahrmund made the all-district second team, and Rose Stuewe, Brooke Nevins and Julia Maenius were named honorable mention.
Stevens, Nevins, Hannah Wilson, Lindsey Behrends and Kendall Huizinga were named to the academic all-state team.
